Best or Terrific? The Boring Words that Need Replacing in Your Content
No one likes to read a boring article. Think about it, when you started reading this blog post, you hoped for something engaging and informational, right? Right! The truth of the matter is, people do not have the time to scroll through text-heavy newsletters and bland blog posts (hopefully this isn’t one of them). So, how do you get your audience to stop yawning and start tuning in? The secret is in the words, or “words, words, words” as Hamlet would say. In order to keep an individual’s attention, you need to insert more descriptive language into your shared works. This isn’t to say that you stuff the dictionary into your posts, like you tried to do when you wanted to sound intelligent to a professor, but use words that don’t become redundant.
